So this afternoon my eldest (now 10) said she wants me to start teaching her how to use Photoshop because it looks like a lot of fun.  So I told her sure, but first she needs to be able to take the photos that goes with it and bang!  I was up and ready to be her model (who can say no to free photos, huh, huh!!??).   Soon her brother (now 6) joined and they ended up snapping away like real pros, confidently shouting out directions to their model.. “look this way, smile, lift your hand, point up there again…” lol

They really seemed to enjoy themselves, filling up the cards in no time. And when done was so exhausted they decided to hand back the cameras, run downstairs and jump in the pool.  No editing was taught this time, but what’s nicer than swimming on a hot day, Mom?

I can only hope that one of them will eventually take it up as a hobby, if not more.  In all my years of working, photography is by far the greatest most fulfilling career I have ever had.
